For anyone who feels that the iPhone's purchase price, and subsequent contractual tie-in just isn't costing them enough money, there's a new luxury option coming soon.

Goldstriker is to offer 24 carat gold covered iPhones from this month, pricing to be confirmed.

Although with the iPhone's all-screen front design, we can't help thinking that such an effect is a little lost on the this phone ... but maybe that's a good thing.
