UC Berkeley posts free lectures on YouTube

The University of California at Berkeley has launched a YouTube channel with over 300 lectures on various subjects.

The videos aren't just for enrolled students – UC Berkeley wants to share the content with anyone who wants to learn.

"YouTube's ongoing innovations create a great environment in which students and lifelong learners alike can discover, watch and share educational videos", said Ben Hubbard, manager of special events and video services.

So, instead of using YouTube to watch penguins dance or tesla coils sing you could be improving yourself with "Integrative Biology 131: General Human Anatomy".

Too squeamish? Why not try "Chemistry 3B - Lecture 06: Aromatic Compounds II"? Or even "Applied Science & Technology 210 / Electrical Engineering 213: Soft X-Rays and Extreme Ultraviolet Radiation".
