Philips launches X200 laptop with extendable display

Designed for use in small spaces

Philips has launched the X200 laptop with an extendable 12.1-inch widescreen display.

Described as perfect for the frequent traveller and those who need to use a laptop confined spaces, such as on aeroplanes, this design means you can move the screen out and closer to you without moving the laptop.

The Philips X200 boasts Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology (1.73GHz, 533MHz FSB, 2MB Cache, 1024MB memory), comes with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, a 100GB hard drive, a DVD ReWriter Drive and a 1.3-megapixel built-in camera.

Available at PC World, the X200 is £499.97.
