Palm 500v smartphone available on Vodafone from today

Palm has announced that the new Palm Treo 500v smartphone will be available from Vodafone stores across the UK from today.

Available in all of Vodafone's 347 stores, the new 500v is available on both pay monthly or pay as you go options.

For pay monthly customers, the device is free on a Vodafone contract. Those opting for the pay as you go package will pay £220 for the smartphone.

For Vodafone business customers, the contract prices range from free to £85.11 depending on what contract the user opts for.

A range of accessories for the new Windows Mobile device is also available now from the Palm store.
