Tech deals: Orange improves its PAYG tariffs

Orange, which on 1 July 2010 teamed up with T-Mobile to become Everything Everywhere, has some good news for its PAYG users as it's recently announced improvements and rewards across its animal plans.

Those on the Monkey plan still get its music tailoring slant, but with a top-up of £5 a month users will also be entitled to some free texts and a daily internet pass.

If you're on Canary, you can look forward to extra evening and weekend texts and photo messages, whilst anyone who's opted for the Racoon plan can now get an updated flat rate of 12p per minute.

Finally Camel users will get free international calls when topping up with £10 of credit at a time.

Pippa Dunn, vice president of Orange Propositions, Everything Everywhere, said:  “We have enhanced our Pay As You Go animal packages to ensure we meet our customers’ changing needs and continuously provide good value. We are committed to offering customers packages that are tailored to their specific lifestyles – from music to free international calls”.

This could be one of many benefits to hit Orange and T-Mobile users as Pocket-lint recently reported that Everything Everywhere users can now also look forward to the combined coverage of both networks.
