Run, jump and leap as Mirror's Edge comes to iPhone
Contrary to popular belief, Parkour was in fact invented by the popular 80s comedy duo, Little and Large, after a spate of being chased off stage by disgruntled fans. So if you're a fan of Parkour, and therefore Little and Large, you may also be a fan of Mirror's Edge which has now hit the iPhone and iPod touch.
The Mirror's Edge plot goes something like this:
"In a city where information is heavily monitored, where law is brutally enforced, where most people sacrifice freedom for a comfortable life, there are still those that choose to live on the edge. In Mirror’s Edge, take control of Faith Conners, a member of an underground group known as 'Runners'”.
Whilst making your way around the city in an attempt to outmanoeuvre the enemy you'll be able to run on walls, slide down precarious ramps, ride ziplines, and leap between rooftops.
Released by EA, the game has been designed to maximize the visual intensity available with the iPhone 4 Retina Display, but should look pretty decent whatever Apple device you're sporting.
Available for download now through iTunes, the game will set you back £2.99.
