Free mobile access throughout November and December

It's taken a while - we reported that the two companies were in talks back in November last year - but O2 has now announced plans to partner with MySpace.

The partnership will let O2 customers to view, track and contribute to their MySpace pages on the move - for social networking on the go.

The service is expected to go live early November when all O2 customers with a data-enabled handset (around 80%) will receive free data usage to the MySpace site on the O2 network throughout the whole of November and December.

O2 customers will need to call 2112 to activate a free browsing link to be set up on their handset. Free access to MySpace will also be available from "What's New" on the O2 Active portal from November.

After the free access deal runs out, O2 customers are encouraged to try the new web bolt ons, from £7.50 per month.
