Samsung Galaxy Tab turns up in Israel testing phone calls

By the time the Samsung Galaxy Tab officially launches at IFA in Berlin on Thursday 2 September it seems we will know virtually everything about it, thanks to further leaks online over the weekend.

This time it's more pictures of the device in the wild thanks to Israeli site gadgety.co.il.

Apart from three new pictures to gawp over showing the device in action, two of the images have a sticker that will be very exciting to those looking to take the Galaxy Tab out and about with them when they get one. It's the promise of a CDMA version.

That sticker is backed up by four little bars next to a Wi-Fi symbol.

According to comments made in an Israeli Android forum called iAndroid by a chap called Doron, the Tab "Works very fast...Multi touch works fine...Really feel as if admiring the Galaxy S only big". The forum user goes on to say: "Indeed comes with a 2.2, very strong speaker. We've made some calls and it just sounds good. Own GPS little slow in the beginning but works perfectly".

Pocket-lint will be live at the official unveiling in Berlin so stay tuned for all the action via our dedicated IFA 2010 homepage, or better yet, our dedicated Samsung Galaxy Tab homepage.

Thanks Harel.
