Shout it from the rooftops - Wispa's back!

4 October 2007 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

It's been bloomin' ages since we featured a chocolate site here and I for one have been having withdrawal symptoms.

What makes this one even better is that fact that

a) it's from Cadbury
b) it's 1980s themed.

Cadbury is synonymous with chocolate in this country. The continental types say it's not real chocolate, but what do they know? They didn't grow up, in the decade that taste forgot, counting the minutes 'til the end of school, with what was left of your dinner money clutched in a sweaty little palm, desperate to get to the newsagent and grab yourself a Wispa.

It was the iconic chocolate bar of the 1980s for many people. Celebrity endorsed, lighter than Dairy Milk, heavier than Aero - it was just right. We used to have competitions to see who could eat the most - they really were that moreish.

If you've never experienced the charms of a Wispa then this is your chance, 'cos they're back! Oh happy days!

This site tells you everything you need to know about the bar and there's loads of other stuff too. Our favourite is the Wispa Warp which lets you upload a mugshot of yourself (or whoever, for that matter) and recreate your '80s look.

Wicked.
