Back in January at CES, when we had our first look at the slate/phone hybrid that is the Dell Streak - the model we witnessed was a lovely shade of rouge. (It was also called the Dell Mini 5 back then).

But, when the device hit the shops, it was a plain old black affair with no red in sight.

But now the "cherry red", as Dell is calling it, version is available - direct from its makers.

Priced at £449, the same as its "carbon black" counterpart, the 5-inch Android monster is available now and Dell says that it will ship within 24 hours.

In case you missed the Dell Streak data first time around, it's a 5-inch, 800x480, capacitive touchscreen, Android 1.6 device (with Froyo on its way) that has a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 Snapdragon ARM processor and 512MB of RAM.

It also has a 5-megapixel camera with video LED and dual LED flash on the back with a front facing camera on the top.

If you're considering going Streaking then be sure to check out our full review to see if it ticked all of our boxes.
