Griffin Travel Speaker: Where we're going - we don't need batteries

You know what it's like. You're sitting around the campsite after a brilliant day's festival action and you want to carry on the party. You've got your iPod fully charged up, but your portable speakers have run out of juice. Disaster.

Well, Griffin has come up with the solution to that problem with its Travel Speaker - that is powered directly from your Apple device.

It's compact enough to fit in your ruck-sack and Griffin states that it offers "social situations a louder volume for everyone to enjoy the tunes, without the worry of connecting to a power supply".

It also acts as a docking station as well, as it comes with a USB lead, which allows you to sync and charge your iPhone.

We're not sure how quickly the Travel Speaker would drain your iPod or iPhone, but we're planning on getting our hands on this speaker and giving it the once over - so be sure to check our reviews section in the near future.

The Griffin Travel Speaker will cost you £29.99 and you can get one from Tesco now.
