All-in-one PCs are becoming ever more popular in the desktop world, with manufacturers keen to promote the machines as media and entertainment hubs.
Lenovo has just unveiled its latest foray into the AIO market with the touchscreen IdeaCentre A700.
The machine has a 23-inch, full HD 1080p, touchscreen display with "surface acoustic wave (SAW) technology, as used in certain medical applications, for the most reliable and responsive touch experience".
It's quite a slim AIO - just 2cm wide at its thinnest point and just over 6cm at its thickest. Within its skinny body it is able to pack in some good looking hardware though.
Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors are all an option and you can get up to 8GB of PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM at 1066MHz. The minimum HDD is 500GB, with a maximum of double that, and the graphics are handled by either Intel on the lowest spec model or an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5750 on the highest.
The top-ranger also includes a Blu-ray drive (take that Apple) and other models have DVD recorder optical drives.
There's Wi-Fi of course, and also HDMI in and out ports. The IdeaCentre A700 also comes with a 3-in-1 mouse that works as a usual mouse, an air pointer and a motion-drive games controller.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A700 will be available in the UK, with prices beginning at £999.
