Apple Store Covent Garden: Sneak peak

Well, what have we here? It looks like someone has pulled back the curtain of a well disguised Covent Garden store to reveal a beaming white Apple, indicating that Cupertino Computers is almost ready to open its second central London base.

The curtains have been up for a little while now, and whilst speculation has been rife that they were hiding away a new Apple Store, this is the first time we've seen any sort of proof.

The picture is a little bit pixelated - but we can assure you that it isn't a Photoshop-job, it's simply where the image has been enlarged.

It's been a busy couple of weeks for Apple in terms of its retail operations. First it opened up its beautiful store in Paris (pictured below) and it followed this up with a new store in Shanghai.

Will the Covent Garden Apple Store have a launch as high profile as these two? We'll have to wait and find out.
