Heckler and Koch MP5 Wii gun for the NRA member you know

Remember that Heckler and Koch MP5 Wii remote and Nunchuk we spotted last October buried in the corner of a hall at a random trade show in Hong Kong?

Well it's back, this time on American soil, complete with a price and happy to pose long enough for us not only to have a go, but also to grab a bevy of pictures for you.

The accessory, which would no doubt have made Charlton "You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hand" Heston very happy, it looks like the same gun we saw on the other side of the planet.

As before it comes with an orange tip for "safety" (so LA's finest don't gun you down), and the Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk controllers are built in so you won't have to somehow connect your current ones. The whole thing is powered by a rechargeable (via USB) battery, and there is a built-in speaker and rumble system.

There is even an optional dual-axis tuning fork angular rate sensor to replace the Wii Motion Plus functions.

In the hand you'll feel like you're part of SWAT, handy seeing as we played Silent Scope on the Wii. We found response was good, in fact if you're a real hardcore first person shooter, and own a Wii this is a must. It really is that fun.

Expected to hit the US in the next couple of months, it will cost $49.99.

The spokesman for the company even suggested that at the end of E3 we could nip back and buy the one we played with. Shame then that we are out of here before then.

Oh, and for those who prefer a more close quarter experience, the company also sell an Over Shot Gun that is Wii compatible too. Shame though this wasn't to hand.

We will keep you posted.
