Go retro-cool with a USB typewriter

Are you bored of all the modern sleek looking keyboards on the market? Do you long for the days where you could feel a bit of give under your fingers as you typed rather than having the feeling absorbed by hi-tech, shock absorbing, rubber keys?

If you answered yes to the above, then you might want to consider getting yourself one of these fantastic retro USB typewriters. Designed by Jack Zylkin, the USB typewriters are the coolest thing to come out of Philadelphia since the Fresh Prince.

They can work with any USB compatible device, including the iPad, using Apple's USB adapter it works by utilising software designed using the open source Arduino microcontroller platform, and can be modified using the Arduino IDE.

If you fancy getting yourself one, then you can order them here for between $400 and $500. There's a few different models to choose from, or you can even send in your own typewriter to be modified.
