Blinkx, the world’s largest video search engine, has launched a World Cup channel meaning that footie lovers won't have to put too much effort into finding all of the World Cup goodness available in the webiverse.
The service is available on both the desktop and mobile versions of Blinkx. Using Blinkx's technology you'll be able to search the daily news coverage from news sources like ITN and AP and have access to playlists of the top World Cup-related headlines. You'll be able to jump to the exact moment a word is spoken by clicking on the white speaker icon on the video's tags, jump to specific scenes within the clip, or click on faces of interest.
At the moment there's a lot of press conference action on there including Germany boss Joachim Low talking about his team's 4-0 mauling of the Socceroos, which will only really appeal to you if you speak German as well as a few clips of Jamie Carragher talking about Rob Green, which will only appeal to you if you speak Scouse.
You can read our in depth piece on Blinkx's mobile platform launch here, which includes an interview with CEO Suranga Chandratillake.
