A new range of "classically elegant" loudspeakers that claim to combine high performance, inspired by musicians, along with practical style is being launched in the UK.Paying homage to the Bauhaus design ethic, the Ceratec products "reconcile the trademark functional elegance of Bauhaus with individual artistic spirit".
Made from anodised, extruded aluminium and glass, the new Ceratec Xeno range incorporate a row of tri-colour LEDs into the rear face of the unit, and emit a "soft glow" of colours. This colour slash music combo is said to "promote a sense of harmony and wellbeing".
The Ceratec Faqt range features interchangeable side panels that come in ivory, zebrano, sapele and Birds Eye maple, although can be customised in any finish.
The Ceratec Xeno range is available in a variety of sizes from £1500, with subwoofers extra. The Ceratec Faqt range are priced at £2850.00 a pair, plus the cost of panels.
The ranges will be available at Selfridges in the coming months.
