Shock! 28 May launch that isn't the iPad - Blur
How do you top what's going on just up the road at that other launch? Crash a couple of cars into the side of Old Street Magistrate's Court, it seems. Albeit, not for real.
To highlight the fact that Activision's racing game Blur hit stores at the same time as the iPad, UK artist Gavin Nolan was tasked with creating a realistic mural, depicting the blurring of the lines (geddit?) between reality and make-believe. His end result, which took over 30 hours to complete, is inspired by the company's "Brock Lee" advert...
The mural has been in place for a couple of days, the game on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC has just hit stores. iPad? What iPad?
