Broken Sword: Souped up iPad version released
Revolution has revamped the iPhone version of Broken Sword: The Director's Cut for an optimised iPad experience.
Graphic improvements have been made so as it will look much better on the 9.7-inch screen. There's also the, pretty amazing it has to be said, inclusion of the first ever digital version of the Broken Sword comic from Dave Gibbons of Watchmen fame.
You'll have to earn this digi-comic though, it won't just be handed to you on a plate. Bad news of you're a Gibbons fan but you're crap at gaming. If that is the case, get a mate who is game-competent to earn it for you. Double win.
"This really is the definitive version", says Charles Cecil head-honcho at Revolution. "Rather than rush the game out for the US launch, we have taken the time to get it just right, and with the higher resolution graphics, and the addition of the digital comic as a bonus feature, there's a lot of new content to enjoy. We are thrilled to be able to release the game to coincide with the European launch of the iPad".
Broken Sword: The Director's Cut is out now in the App Store for £4.99.
The iPad is, of course, out in the UK on 28 May. The Apple Store on Regent Street is opening at 8am. You better start queuing now.
