Whirlpool gets colourful with Max Fitness microwaves

Whirlpool claims it's taking the bite out of the cold weather by introducing "warm winter colours" to its collection of "Max Fitness" microwaves.

From November, for a limited period only, Max microwaves will be available in a variety of new glossy colours from Merlot Red, to Chocolate and Cream, via Violet. Glossy Black, White and Silver will also be available.

Apart from the obvious novelty of getting a kitchen appliance in a non-bog-standard colour, the Max microwaves are compact and have a rounded exterior for space-saving.

Other features to note are the "Jet" defrost, the Auto Steam function and the included baby bottle holder. The range will be available from John Lewis and Waitrose shops, among others, for around £99.
