Orange offers mobile and broadband "Safety" sub-site

For nervous netizens or fearful phone owners

No doubt inspired into the timing of the announcement by the recent calls for more checks on cyber-bullying, Orange has launched an advice area on its website for worried customers.

If you're a parent concerned about cyber-bullying, a victim of said abuse, or a customer generally worried about the ills of the digital world, such as email fraud and phishing, you can find advice and guidance.

The two main areas Orange are offering an online shoulder for are mobile phones (including how-not-to-be-a-victim guides for those worried about street crime) and broadband, with lots of different areas covered:

"Mobile phone and the internet have made a huge difference to our lives. But, like everything, they can be used for good or bad purposes. It all depends on what you do with them. Check out our new site for tips and advice on how to stay safe."
