Fujitsu Siemens Computers has taken the wraps off its new range of professional notebook - the "ESPRIMO Mobile" series.The new notebook family includes the mid-range ESPRIMO Mobile U, ESPRIMO Mobile M, ESPRIMO Mobile D and the entry level ESPRIMO Mobile V.
With the latest Intel processor technology, FSC says the ESPRIMO Mobile V Value Line has been designed for an optimal price slash performance ratio.
The V line offers a 15.4-inch widescreen display, full-sized keyboard, built-in optical drive, Wireless LAN and higher-end models offer embedded UMTS. From £317, plus VAT.
The main feature of the ESPRIMO Mobile U9200 is its portable design that weighs in at 1.8kg. Equipped with a 12.1-inch display this is aimed at business travellers who want maximum mobility. From £760, plus VAT.
The ESPRIMO Mobile M9400, with its 14.1-inch WXGA TFT display, weighs 2.2 kilograms, comes with an integrated modem, LAN, Wireless LAN, embedded UMTS/HSDPA and Bluetooth for easy connection. From £749, plus VAT.
The ESPRIMO Mobile D9500 has a 15.4-inch display and weighs 2.5 kilograms. Angled as a desktop replacement, all models still have integrated UMTS/HSDPA in addition to wireless LAN. From £738, plus VAT.
The Fujitsu Siemens "product family concept" means that all of these notebooks use the same accessories, such as port replicator and the second battery for easy systems and sharing. All models are available now.
