"Experience the new wave of smart mobility" reads the invite Pocket-lint recently received for a forthcoming HTC launch.

The event, due to be held in London on October 1st, promises the UK launch of devices from HTC's Q4 2007 line up.

"HTC will be unveiling exciting new additions to its range of smart devices" did not give us much to go on, until a leak from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group was spotted.

The Group, via a released-too-soon leak on its website, has posted info about the HTC "Kii". According to the spec listed it's a non-touchscreen Windows Mobile smartphone and supports Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR.

We can now speculate that this may well be what HTC are planning to unveil on 1st October.

Pocket-lint will be attending the launch, and will bring you all the official info - as well as any more leaks in the mean time - on this new smartphone.
