British manufacturer Econogo has launched the Yogo, the first electric scooter with fully detachable and portable lithium batteries.
Up until now, electric scooters required a charge directly from the mains, often involving a long extension cable. But the Yogo has two LiFePO4 lithium batteries, that can be taken out and charged in under an hour. Each battery has a range of 22 miles when fully charged, so 44 miles is possible. Plus the Yogo can travel at 30mph. It's the perfect little urban runaround.
With zero emissions, zero petrol costs, and a retail price of £1999, this might just be the answer to your daily commuting hassles.
