Not coming to UK though

Research In Motion, the makers of the BlackBerry has just announced and launched a Wi-Fi enabled version of the BlackBerry Curve in America today.

However, in a blow to UK customers, the company has ruled out the device coming to the UK anytime soon.

"There are no plans to release this in EMEA at the moment", a spokesman on behalf of the company told Pocket-lint.

Rumoured last week, but not expected for sometime, the new product is already on sale in T-Mobile stores.

The move means new owners of the Curve will be able to get Satnav directions and Wi-Fi access on the go.

The handset will be available in both Titanium and Pale Gold and currently looks to be only available on T-Mobile.

Vodafone has just launched the BlackBerry 8310 in the UK without wireless connectivity.

We will keep you posted.
