Vodafone, who up until now has been quiet as to when its expecting to get its stock of the HTC Desire, has now put the Android 2.1-powered handset up for grabs on its website with the promise of an 8 April delivery date.
You should by now know that the new phone is HTC's latest flagship model and comes with a 1Ghz snapdragon processor and a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display.
Vodafone has suddenly gone all Android this month adding to its HTC Magic with not one but four new devices: The HTC Desire, HTC Legend, Sony Ericsson X10 and Google Nexus One, also scheduled to launch soon.
The HTC Desire launches on 8 April and will be available for free on monthly contracts from £30 (24-month contract), with 600 minutes (900 minutes if you order online), unlimited texts and 500MB of mobile internet.
