O2 has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it will be carrying the new HTC HD Mini first announced at Mobile World Congress in February, although has refused to place a date on when Windows Mobile 6.5 fans will be able to get the handset.
The confirmation comes as the new phone has turned up in the company's latest brochure with a "coming soon" tag on it.
The handset, which is a miniaturised version of the HD2, will have to go through testing on the network, says O2, before it's available to customers.
However, a quick phone call to HTC in the UK suggests that stock of the HD Mini will land in the UK around the 7 April.
The news implies that O2 stocking the phone shouldn't be far behind.
We will keep you posted.
