We all want smaller laptops don't we, trouble is, if you go smaller, as we've learnt with the Asus Eee PC, you get a keyboard that is only suitable for 10-year-olds to type on.
One suggestion is to have a keyboard that folds out from the laptop once the lid is lifted. So you get a small package, in this case a 6.5-inch screen, but large keyboard.
Yang Yongchang has come up with just that as an idea for the laptop for the future. The idea is plausible. Accessories maker Targus has produced and sold keyboards that fold down to the size of an iPhone or example, but never as a built in option probably because there are too many parts that could go wrong.
Would you want your laptop to boast this kind of feature in the future, and if not what would you like it to do? Let us know in the comments below.
