Tech deals: Tasco telescope just 69.99 from Amazon

As it's a somewhat a special week in terms of Britain's potential space exploits, as the UK Space Agency has been officially launched this week, we thought we'd bring you a deal which would be ideal for any budding star gazers.

The Tasco 3.5-inch Catadioptric Telescope is available from Amazon.co.uk for £69.99 and gets a 200x magnification, a focal length of 600mm and, weighing 2.1kg, means it shouldn't be too much trouble for sticking in the car when you go in search for an area which is low in light pollution.

Along with the telescope, you'll get 6mm and 20mm eyepieces, plus 2x Barlow and photo adapter tube and moon filter. Apparently it's got an easy set-up, so good for the beginner, and if you want to find out more about using a telescope you could do a lot worse than clicking here.
