Dell has announced it is opening a retail store in Russia. The store is scheduled to open early next month on the second floor in the new Gorbuskin Dvor retail centre in Moscow.

It will feature notebooks, desktops, servers, printers and other products from Dell, and staffed by specialists trained specifically about Dell products and applications.

In addition to selling Inspiron products for home use, the store will demonstrate Dell Vostro products and servers designed for small businesses. The store will be managed by Nexus, a Dell Partner.

Michael Dell, chairman and CEO, said: "Russia’s rapidly growing computer market is reflected by the 800% growth in the number of internet users over the past 7 years to approximately 28 million".

"Dell is making additional investments in its business in Russia – both products and services – to meet the growing needs of the country’s IT market, which is expected to double over the next four years."

This store is the first in the city and only the second store in Europe to be dedicated to selling only Dell products.
