Nintendo DS gets "Beginners Wine" game in Japan

Boozy offering for wacky handheld

Continuing the theme of wacky non-trad gaming offerings, a new Nintendo DS game is set to appeal to wine lovers, AP reports.

Beginners Wine DS hits stores in Japan in November and will offer step-by-step instructions on choosing a bottle of wine as well as how to properly swirl a glass during a tasting session.

Also included will be a wine database and a quiz mode to test tasters on their vino knowledge.

No info on minimum age requirements, but we assume it won't be a release aimed at younger gamers.
