The filming of T-Mobile’s latest publicity stunt, which it is to turn into an advert, has apparently seen the largest flock of geese being driven through the City of London for almost 160 years.
Said to have been thought up to highlight "outdated silly rules" (such as Freemen supposedly still being allowed to drive geese through the Square Mile) more than 100 geese were guided along Cheapside.
"The geese brought the streets to a standstill with passers-by stopping to take photographs and film videos", says T-Mobile, "Some even helped shoo a few wayward birds on their way".

T-Mobile's first such "Life's for Sharing" ad saw 300 people carrying out a dance routine at Liverpool Street Station while more recently a Trafalgar Square sing-a-long starred 13,000 members of the public and pop-star Pink.

Watch out for the geese-themed ad hitting the small screen soon.
