At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Plastic Logic has launched its Que proReader, and Pocket-lint was on hand to grab some photos. The device, despite its glassy looks, is made of plastic and features a 10.7-inch touchscreen for interacting with your content.
It measures 8.5 x 11 inches and actually features a matt display rather than the shiny version depicted on the prototype that we got snapshots of. The standard 4GB model can hold 35,000 documents or so, and an 8GB version pumps that up to 70,000 or so and adds 3G connectivity to the Wi-Fi available on both models.
Pricing runs to $650 for the 4GB model, and $800 for the 8GB variant. Availability isn't yet confirmed, nor is whether the devices will make it to the UK. When we hear any info on that front, we'll be sure to let you know.
