Wrist-based Powerstrap offers charging on the go
A new wearable charger has launched with the announcement the Powerstrap will be available in the UK this month.
From Orca Global Trading, it's described as a powerful wrist strap made up from a series of batteries to keep users fully charged and connected while out and about.
The Powerstrap comes complete with ten adaptors for major brand mobile phones, iPods, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS and digital cameras.
Comprised of six li-Ion polymer battery cells in a water resistant silica gel casing, the Powerstrap takes 5 hours to charge up via mini USB and then offers 3-hours talktime to phones or 8-hours extra use for the average MP3 player.
Available in yellow, green, blue and red, white and black the Powerstrap will be available from January 2010 for £39.99 from Amazon.
