Cast your mind back to 24 November, when BenQ announced the launch of a pair of 18.5- and 19-inch LED monitors which came with a "lowest power consumption in category" claim. Well, that range has now been expanded with the addition of 21.5- and 24-inch options.
The 21.5-inch G2222HDL and the 24-inch G2420HDBL claim to offer a combination of a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, energy-efficient LED backlighting, low power consumption and 100% mercury-free construction. Both offer a full HD 1080p 16:9 resolution, along with six pre-set viewing modes for movies, games, photos, sRGB work and an "eco" setting.
Both come in glossy black with "elegant curves". The 22-inch version costs £150, whereas you'll need to pay an extra £20 for the 24-inch version, which you'll find at £170. The displays should be available in the UK from late December.
