As well as the Memory Mouse 8000, Microsoft has also launched two wireless notebook mice - the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 and the Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000.

The Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 boasts high definition laser technology for smoother tracking, more responsiveness and better precision. It also sports an ambidextrous design, a carrying case, up to 3 months battery life and battery life indicator.

The Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 offers 2.4GHz wireless which promises virtually no interference and also has high definition laser technology.

The mouse provides instant access to the Windows Vista Flip 3D feature and offers up to six months of battery life with an indicator to let you know when its running low.

A magnifier tool and back button lets user use popular commands with a single touch and it offers soft-grip sides and an ergonomic, ambidextrous design.

The Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 will be widely available in September 2007 and the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 in October 2007 — each for around $49.95.
