Sanyo has announced the launch of a new version of its Xacti range. The Xacti C5 will follow in the same lines as the C3, but be considerably smaller (see images below).

The new model will feature 5.1 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, image stablizer and a 2in LCD display. As before the unit will also feature a SD card for saving down video footage.

Although details are sketchy, but the new model will also feature something called the Dual Shot Function.

Sanyo is due to announce more details tomorrow when CeBit opens. We will keep you posted.
