Hot on the heels of the Conde Nast "Wired" demo, Time Inc's "Sports Illustrated" has made a stab at a concept of what the mag might look like on a tablet device.

Thought to be in anticipation of Apple releasing a multimedia tablet later next year, the big American publishing companies are grasping hold the tablet concept as if it might be the Holy Grail to save the dying print industry.

As well as the touch bits and bobs you'd expect, the tab-mag offers video and the ability to share content via social media, just like, er... oh yes, the Web.
