This is the Ergo Bike Premium 8i from German manufacturer Daum Electronics. Its big USP is internet connectivity that means you can go online to select courses to "ride".
And - thanks again to the interwizzle - you can go head to head with other indoor cyclists, insult their speed via VoIP and watch them slowly turn red through the webcam.
It's about £2000 - which, even when you consider the built-in MP3 player - still sounds like a lot.
