Jamie Oliver "Survival Kit" from Tefal

Pan man

Wanna sell saucepans to boys? Here's Tefal's plan - get one cheeky chappie involved, make them in blue cammo and sell them as a "Survival Kit".

The Jamie Oliver-branded offering is a kind of all-in-one pan set that, in theory, you'd give to your teenage son as he heads off to uni, or as a housewarming gift for someone about to move into a very small flat.

Comprising of a wok, a frying pan, a saucepan, two glass lids and a universal handle to fit all parts, the USP for the kit is that not only is it space saving, but it's multitasking.

The pan-type elements can be used on the hob, in the oven or straight to the table as serving-ware and then neatly package up into each other for storage.

Spec-wise, they're made of aluminium, have a non-stick coating and a thermo-spot to show ideal cooking temperature but are not cheap-as-pan-fried-chips with-a-drizzle-of-olive-oil at around £70.
