Adidas launches Micropacer "Vertu" trainers

Kicks inspired by the posh phones

Adidas launches Micropacer

7 September 2007 11:48 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Adidas is launching the Micropacer Vertu trainers in September as part of their Consortium Series limited edition releases.

Apparently the shoes' oiled leather and mesh materials are inspired by Nokia's high-end Vertu phone brand, although we're not sure we get it.

The retro looks hark back to their first Micropacer efforts from way back in '84 launched especially for the Olympic games that - gasp! - boasted a computer chip.
