  • We Americans do have "cafetiere"s though you'll never find one calling it that. (I had to use google to see what it was). We call that a "french press" or "coffee press" and you can even get them at wal-mart.

  • You missed a trick. In the 'I don't know the name, what does it do?' line of opportunities, maybe you could have taken over some HP sauce and pretended it was a petrol additive that would make cars go faster. Posted by Michael, UK
