• Feel really really shafted, bought a 40D in Nov 07. Less than a year later they release the 50D, and just over 18 months on the 500D. Am quite happy with my 40D, but it would have been nice to have a much higher pizxel count than 10 meg to play around with. Shame on you Canon!! Posted by Deen, UK
• Deen, if its any consolation i've got a 40D and having had a quick play with the 500D although its got a higher megapixel rate and that video mode, i'm not going to be changing anytime yet. Posted by stuartmiles, United Kingdom
