  • This is a great news to have digital photo frames by Toshiba that already deals in very good laptops. I was reading this news and I got the whole idea however I was wondering about its price.
It was unbelievable to find the prices also along with the product info. Simply Great

  • No video playback? this could surpass other digital picture frame in the market if indeed it has a video playback, one more thing about, when will digital picture frame can snap or integrate a camera so we can snap a few pictures especially if we have a house celebration? Take a picture and display, and no need to transfer. Posted by Leo, Philippines
  • I like the internet radio feature. It would be nice to have video though. Posted by Bruce, USA
  • Why do I get the feeling this is just a Linux based tablet PC ? I suspect tweakers would soon work out how to get telnet access and turn on functions like virtual keyboard, web browsing etc the Toshiba don't want us to use. £139 for a internet tablet computer - now that is a worthwhile investment ! • Since most photos are actually 4:3, not 16:9, you can't use large parts of the 10 inch version without stretching or cropping your photos. Without stretching or cropping, a 10" 16:9 screen actually displays photos at the size of an 8.2" 4:3 screen. In other words, for 4:3 content, like most photos, a 4:3 8.4" screen is larger than a 16:9 10" screen and you don't get those annoying black bars on the sides.

    I'll take the 801, thanks.
