  • hello guys, I would like to congratulate you on this story, it's so interesting and unusual to get a UK/Europe-based 3D announcement like this. I heard it on BBC radio two yesterday but couldn't find a press release anywhere until Engadget.com led me to read your story.

Let me explain. I have recently been selected as the newsfeed blog feeder for MTBS3D.com, a website we like to think is the most comprehensive in the 3-D stereoscopic help, news and support forums and I can honestly say the majority of news articles I deal with hail from the US or Asia.

It looks like CES 2009 will have some exciting news about 3-D tech making its way into the homes for general entertainment consumption, so let's hope in the 2009 is better than 2008 economically etc so we can afford such tech.

    Thank you, Silversurfer

  • Well, if the up-take of "3DTV" is as slow as it is with HDTV in this country, then I think it will be a long time coming. Posted by Darren, United Kingdom
