  • "Heat loss from the charger has also been eliminated"... so the world's first charger made entirely with superconductor components then? Posted by GK, UK
  • A universal charger that works with three brands. Admittedly the three biggest, but it's hardly "universal", is it? Come to think of it, making additional chargers is hardly "protecting the environment" either. Posted by Where's Mike?, UK
  • Great news for the environment - and it woutld have been even better - and a FANTASTIC PR stunt if O2 had made the charger available to ALL at hte discounted price rather than linking it to O2 sales. it would obvciously have attracted NONe O2 users into their stores as well!.

Sorry Mike - but the term universal is very apt here (although not "correct"). The brandsmentiond constitute I belive nearly 85% of the telephones used - and that potentially is a uge saving to the environment.

So, despite it all - thanks O2!
(P.S. - I dont work for them - or even have an O2 phone)!
