Is web surfing affecting how we think?

• Well, the internet wasn't around 20 years ago. If you wanted to find out information you had to go to a library and find a book about it. These days, you can find out information in seconds. Its not as though new information has become available, but much easier to find. So I suppose as a side effect, we show increased "learning abilities".
  
  My only criticism is that, as the internet grows, face-to-face communication becomes less, so having both learning and communication skills will be difficult. Posted by A. Broughton, UK
