    The new DMC-FX500 features a 25mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom and a 10.1-megapixel sensor.

    Rounding out Panasonic's camera launch are three compacts: the DMC-FX3, the DMC-FX50, and the DMC-FX07.

    The FX3 is a basic model, features 6 megapixels and a very impressive lens that has a maximum aperture of f2.8 and a zoom range of 35mm to 105mm on a 35mm equivalent.
