KDDI has shown off a 3D display designed for future handsets at CEATEC. The display offers a 480 x 800 WVGA resolution and those eye-boggling 3G graphics. There's no mention of production plans.

KDDI has unveiled its multi-layered, future concept handset the "PLY", during CEATEC 2008.

The PLY features different, tabbed layers; a projector, a printer layer, a game pad and an analogue clock layer.
