For the first time in history, LEGO and Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) have joined forces to create a motorised LEGO Technic L350F Volvo Wheel Loader and Pocket-lint has teamed up with the toy giant to offer two lucky readers the chance to win one set each.
The yellow remote controlled marvel in Volvo livery not only drives, steers and lifts, but it also loads just like the real-life high-tech 55 tonne equivalent, plus the LEGO Technic Wheel Loader also converts into an articulated A25F Volvo Hauler.
It's an exciting bit of LEGO kit comprising over 1600 intricate LEGO Technic parts and measures 230mm x 590mm to become the latest flagship motorised model from the LEGO Technic line.
Once built, activate the Wheel Loader power functions motors to get started, turn the articulated servo steering and watch the detailed six-cylinder engine pistons and fan move as you drive it into position.
Then it's time to put the industrial beast's six cylinders to the test by lifting the motorised arm and tipping the giant bucket. The robust model's loader arm can lift approximately 1kg and the attached bucket is the largest part ever engineered for a LEGO Technic model in its 37-year history.
It might be aimed at children between 11 and 16 but we want one so we suspect you do too. Each LEGO Technic Volvo L350F Wheel Loader comes with a servo motor, XL motor, large motor, medium motor, two infrared receivers, two remote controls, a battery box and 1636 LEGO Technic parts to build both Volvo models.
The LEGO Technic Volvo L350F Wheel Loader is available in toy shops now for £169.99 and you can watch it in action here.
To be in with of chance of winning one of the two LEGO Technic L350F Volvo Wheel Loader sets, all you have to do is answer the question below and leave us your details so we can send you the prize if you are one of the two lucky winners.
Usual Pocket-lint terms and conditions apply; competition is open to UK residents only, no cash alternative is offered as prize. Competition closes 23:59 on Sunday 17 August 2014.
